Hi,
Like most people, I’m more than happy to ‘muck the ducks’ when, in early position, I pick up pocket deuces in a nine-handed game. Similarly, if I’m dealt a pair of kings, I’m comfortable raising from any position, irrespective of the game’s stakes.

I just love watching poker on TV (check out the Poker TV guide on this site if you do too) and the other day I witnessed the most amazing set of starting cards I had ever seen and the drama of this poker hand continued until the very last card.

Poker is the type of game that can make players feel as though they can literally walk on water. Occasionally, things are going so well that the cards turn perfectly and even outrageous poker bets come off, but as in life, just when it looks as though you’re ready to hit the big time, the wheels can come off with a vengeance.
