Hi guys.
I’ve played online with Littlewoods Poker for almost two years now. Recently, a new casino opened up near to where I live, so I checked it out and found that when playing there, I become a much more conservative performer. This is not doing my chip stack much good. Is there a way of resolving my live game conservatism?

Hi guys.
At times when I play poker, I feel like that guy on the beach who gets sand kicked in his face for no reason. It’s hard to admit, but I get bullied. If I didn’t enjoy the game so much, I’d have packed it in. Is there anything I can do to prevent being pushed about?

Here’s a quiz question: what long-standing poker record was broken at last year’s WPT Spanish Championship, won by Marcus Lehmann? It’s nothing to do with unusual hands or the speed with which Lehmann claimed his Iberian crown. In fact, he could have been romping to victory when a ‘what happened next’ moment occurred.

Most of us have a variety of reasons for playing poker, be it to win packages such as the one described above, for some serious cash or, whisper it, just for fun.
While some people take the game very seriously indeed, let’s hope that we don’t replicate recent events in Florida where a 28 year-old man has been charged with the murder of three people who he believed had been cheating during a private game of poker they were playing.
