The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour, won by former City trader Michael Ellis in 2007 (who trousered a cool £207,600 in the process) returns next week with the first leg scheduled to take place in Brighton.
The tour will follow a similar format to 2007 as it meanders across country, ending at the London Victoria Casino (aka ‘the Vic’ to poker regulars) at the end of November. In total, the GUKPT will comprise nine £1,000 legs and a £3,000 Grand Final. This season, a Link Event has been added (in July), while the Grosvenor Grand Prix now also forms part of the tour.
We like the GUKPT so much, that should you win an EPT event through the Littlewoods Poker room, we’ll buy you into the Manchester GUKPT event in April and throw in £500 in spending money. To find out more, click here.
