Losing concentration at the table

Hi there,

I am having some trouble with my game. My main problem is that I start losing concentration if I’m involved in games that last for longer than a few hours. I’m more of a player who enjoys a flourish – maybe I’m a tad flashy – before pocketing the dough and moving on to my next game. As a result, I’m not making winning moves and winning decent pots, but seem stuck at my current level. Any ideas on how I might improve matters?

Console yourself with new poker game

Okay, we’ve established that it’s virtually impossible to play poker every hour of the day given there are so many other distractions such as work, going to the movies, playing sports or even sitting down for a night in front of a new game console. Plymouth, Poker and Pizzas.

Our thanks go to the Plymouth Argyle season ticket holder who emailed to tell us just what he was up to last Tuesday night – yes, we do take a close interest in all of our players, irrespective of what club they follow. Despite his team having managed just two goals in their last five outings, our devoted fan was intent on winning a ball signed by the Plymouth players at a charity poker event.
