Her most famous exploit was playing (and winning!) a $4 SNG tournament against 180 players without looking at her hole cards. I thought it would be interesting to look at some of her strategies and it may give an insight into some basic poker plays.

It is also where I kicked off the new EPT season with 542 others last month as we assembled for Spain’s largest-ever poker tournament and where ultimately, I learnt a valuable poker lesson which is one that every online poker player should bear in mind the next time they play Texas Holdem online.

By far and away the biggest crime in online poker (apart from stealing another players chips) is giving away a free card. This may sound like stating the obvious, but when it comes to Texas Holdem poker online, far too many players let their opponents in cheaply into a hand and some even for free.
If poker comes down to a series of poker bets between you and your opponents then you want to have the best pot odds at all times and force them into either accepting inferior odds or folding.
